LAUNCH OF THE GLOBAL RACE FOR CLIMATE SMART SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Let the games begin so that everyone, everywhere is a winner
in the race to achieve climate smart sustainable development!

Global Stakeholders will hold a press conference to launch the kick-off of the “Global Race for Climate Smart Sustainable Development” in the center of Bryant Park, New York City, New York at 12pm ET on July 17th, 2018 – International Justice Day.  Bryant Park is located between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue and between 40th and 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan.  Please wear sneakers to join the kick-off run. Everyone present will be invited to broadcast the event using Facebook Live or Periscope.

Over 30 movements, networks, organizations, governments, and academic institutions from across sectors--in all parts of the world--are joining forces to launch the Global Race for Climate Smart Sustainable Development. The goal is to connect and mobilize diverse communities in a fusion of bold and transformative action in support of the rapid impact towards implementation of the Paris Climate Treaty and the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Global Race for Climate Smart Sustainable Development envisions a world everyone, everywhere is a winner in the race for climate smart sustainable development living in healthy balance with Earth.
